I did not get a raise when I took the job because it was technically a demotion ( I was a team leader at a contact center). I assist two VPs and now they want to add a third because they’re looking for the “ 3:1 ratio “. Should I ask for a raise? Is this normal? Wells - curious. Where are you and are you buyer/seller? I'm guessing buyer and all the stats I read are completely in our favor, yet I feel like books of business should be going for sale every day and I struggle to find any good sellers?

Think about this for a minute... why would you sell a book? Because you didn't want it anymore or it was beyond its useful life, kinda like an old car... it's old, rusty and needs more maintainence than it provides useful transportation, it's in the repair shop more often... everytime it goes in you find something else wrong with it? Plus, the prices the buyers are willing to pay are outrageous, by the time you get it paid off it's in the junk yard. No easy solution to building a sustainable business except hard, persistent work.
