I wanted to post this job here for a few reasons. The number one reason is that the university does a terrible job of advertising their open positions. It could be a great fit for someone looking for the next step in their career or for someone at the right stage of their life. If you want an MBA from a booth or your kids are going to college soon, there is a pretty massive credit and your kids (or you) getting into UofC if you are a staff member is basically a guarantee. If you want to save on child care, you can probably do the job just fine while saving on child care for multiple kids (I know people who are doing this). Finally, if you are a fast and fantastic developer, we’d love to have you, but probably can’t compete with TC, so that’s why I suggested the possibility of it being a second FT role.
Actual developer or what kind of skill set?
Traditional dev background is always a plus, but someone who knows there way around Apex, jobs, triggers, SF specific limitations etc. We are working with a vendor implemented product, but once they go, all dev enhancements etc. will likely be handled by this role.
Damn bro/sis.....I respect the transparency here.
Thanks. I prefer to just be honest with people and this type of forum allows for that without senior leadership getting fussy 🙂
