Received an offer as Engagement Director from Salesforce (CSG, pre sales, L9). Great benefits package, 40% increase in total comp and better WLB.
I do love the people in my practice and current client, but career trajectory has stalled after taking parental leave earlier this year and (yet another) change in leadership.
Realistically, making to Director is 2-3 years away and will require sacrificing time with my family that I am not prepared to give up.
Should I stay or should I go?

Great advice from a recruiter 😂
Recruiter is happy if you go to jail. He will get a commission to replace you.

🤣🤣 one thing I’ve learnt over the many years of working is, I work no more than 40 hrs. wkly, and in return they pay me for that time. Employers DGAF about me, my bills, my struggles etc. When my pay affects their or their shareholder’s bottom line and they tell me “time 2 go” or “budget cuts” etc. it’s time for me to go. I’ve seen employers post “confidential” job post to replace folks who are not even in jail, I’ve also seen them post job openings when a person dies, even before their body hits the dirt, so if I end up in jail, I expect nothing less from them. 🤷🏼♀️
