Hi Fishes, I am bit confused to pick the role in KPMG lighthouse as Sr Cloud Data architect or Saama technology as a Project lead. Money wise it is not a big difference. In KPMG I will work with partner where as in saama I will work with project/program manager. Please suggest your opinion. Saama KPMG KPMG India

JPMorgan Chase recently introduced a policy change to increase the notice period to 60 days. I'm a 602 and resigned recently and yet my LWD is showing up as 30 days from now. Anyone recently resigned can confirm if they are facing the same or new policy is in effect. This is causing confusion with the next companies I'm interviewing with.

I hear working at banks is just as bad as big law — WLB wise. Can’t attest myself though
Yikes. Wouldn't touch WF with a ten foot pole.
Try the in-house bowl although if you search in for people tab it doesn’t look like any Wells Fargo lawyers are on this app. There are some compliance people though.

I worked at Wells at the time of the merger with Wachovia. Most attys had pretty cush jobs but those that were corporate were intense. The law dept was scattered all over the country due to legacy bank acquisitions--SF, Pittsburgh, Minneapolis, Charlotte. This was very crazy at the time but seems quite normal 13 years later where remote collaboration is not so nutty. Most colleagues were kind and dedicated--some were dead wood.
An atty that only had negotiated letters of credit sat behind me. He had done that for _45 years_ at Wells and predecessor banks. 45 years!!!!
They have a counsel, managing counsel, senior counsel track. They are terrible about how they advertise jobs and I have no idea how people even find them.
I was in SF but worked mostly with Wachovia folks in CLT.
To add, it seems that lead counsel and assistant general counsel have the same salary range of 144k to 300k listed in the job descriptions, does that mean they are the same level?
