My LM is so keen on small small things, not related to coding but documentation and all. Atleast once in a week I'm committing mistakes on small documentation points n he is stressing on same. Are there any chances that my probation will not be extended or is it a clue for me from my LM. He is Looping his LM and asking questions/clarifications.
Should I ask him directly or can be ignored or need to try outside. Please suggest Barclays

Don’t take work so seriously, dude or dudette. This doesn’t sound like a fire-able offense and you got direct feedback that you did the right thing. Go get a drink, be thankful for the things in life that make you happy, and remember that there’s life outside of deadlines and project messes!
send their C-level into a meeting and have her fried later because we couldn’t be truthful. I was thanked by the PMO director because they felt the same way internally... still will probably get fired because this will most likely turn into a mess. Just couldn’t have my name on the line. Oh well. Any leads will be helpful.
I'm guessing not hitting a deadline is not your fault. Seems like you may be over reacting unless you stepped way out of line.
OP, was it something you were directly responsible for? Is it something that you are solely to blame for the delay?
Learning to disconnect your self-worth with your work is a major thing you need to learn before turning 30
I mean that client will probably hire you in a heart beat, especially if you meet the revised deadline
DM me OP! Have some recruiters I can connect you with, just went through the job search process
Appreciate the advice and wisdom here.
To clarify, the client originally wanted the tight timeline (no surprise). My manager decides to play the “let’s review, but everything will be fine” game. He created the timeline himself and shut me out of the meeting to present to the client. I’m the named PM, but I was shut out of creating the timeline - okay. Client gets the schedule they want and they are happy! I’m like WTF - we won’t hit this date! The whole team says the same thing. I’m told not to worry about it and to be positive. Uh, that’s not how projects get delivered, and I’m the one that has to deliver. Pressure from internal management clearly.
To shorten the story, a detailed plan of the high level timeline was requested. I had zero confidence in what I was to present (oh, yes, delivery of the bs TL was now my task). I received a point blank question from the client PD about meeting a specific date. Hearing the date, I couldn’t lie. This was out of control and the client needed to be told the truth. Client side is very appreciative (they’d rather know now than later), but my internal management (depending on the outcome) may not be, especially when they kept saying yes to whatever the client asked before.
I know I sounded a little dramatic in the OP. Fired isn’t likely, but a serious reprimand could come or I could get sent back to my own consulting firm. Regardless, I feel good with being upfront with the client. They asked for me to go through a formal joint review. I didn’t die and I won’t - not over this.
I have heard and seen this scenario play out so many times and have been in your shoes. It's rough.

You’re a SC. Assuming your title is correct, this news should have been delivered in person by at least a SM or even the acct Partner. You need to learn the difference between responsibility and accountability.
