Thinking about accepting a software engineering offer for BCG Digital Ventures . can anyone working there tell me about the work culture, learning opportunities, and exit opps . Im also interviewing with Zillow and am deciding wether to wait or take an offer. I’m really intrigued by the idea of building ventures and learning alot on the technical and entrepreneurial sides, but the opportunity to work for a tech unicorn is also very intriguing

Interviewed at Deloitte, PwC and EY for Advisory Senior Consultant role. Deloitte offered $105K (plus $5K bonus), PWC offered $127K (plus $15K bonus) and EY offered $155K (plus $10K bonus). Surprised with the difference in pay between Deloitte & EY for same role. Is Deloitte Advisory paying less compared to other firms? 4.5YOE in Consulting.

Bain & Company Would you be ok to move out of strategy consulting while keeping the current TC in similar ballpark (~$200k) and improving WLB?
The new role is in industry and the future salary and career growth would be considerably slow as compared to consulting.

This person just called Deloitte a tier 3, give this person a job! 😂
Google says “situation, complication, question, answer”—is that what you’re on about!? Next question, who cares 😆
I had a 2.5 and am a partner. Grades are one way of showing exceptional potential, not the only one. If you're an average performer with average grades that's one thing... But you're in a good firm. Use the platform, do something exceptional, and earn the ability to stand out from the crowd
I had a 3.0 at a t25 school and they let me in as an experienced hire associate no problem. Didn’t care at all.

I graduated from a university far from the top and had average grades on top of that. I just left it off my resume.
Military service should make up for it, but 2YOE might not be enough to avoid the GPA question.
At 2 YOE they’ll probably still ask. I had 5 YOE and my recruiter still gave me a hard time about my undergraduate GPA, even with an Ivy League masters degree with much higher grades.
It’s not necessarily a dealbreaker though - I still got in even with a 2.9 undergrad GPA so worth a shot if you have a referral and the rest of your resume is stellar.
Had a 2.1 undergrad and im doing just fine here. This is 100% true by the way. ;)
MC1- exactly

Worth shooting your shot. Especially if you can get a referral.
We will look at grades but I’m my experience it’s much more of a red flag check if bad than some minimum that must be met.
Grades don’t matter at lateral. It’s really about what you had done and what you can do
Nothing....grades only matter in undergrad for first job

Curious - if you’re already doing strategy and transformations at D, why the lateral to T2/MBB? You’ll be resetting your network and promotion clock…
.881 GPA one semester. Worked out fine.
You got a D Minus ???
