Hey sharks
I got offer on Citiustech Healthcare Technologies
May I know how WLB in this company, I see in glassdoor and ambitions contains positive and negative. Is it worth to join? Is it useful for me to enhance my career for long run? How about the retention pay? If we leave the company we need to pay entire retention pay?I have other wipro and CTS, which company is better to join?
What's your date of Jalsa??
I am a graduating student who just got offered 65k for a solution analyst role at Deloitte USDC (Data Engineering Focus). From reading previous posts it seems to be a lot of negative thoughts surrounding the USDC, but straight out of college is this a good opportunity?
I'm looking to gain as much experience as possible out of college in an IT role and wondering what exit opportunities may be in place a year or two down the road if there is little/slow progression.
Any Advice?

Describe it to them the way you described it here.
The fact you just started is working in your favour. Personally, I wouldn’t think twice on refusing while also explaining your personal situation to your ecd/cco
Your agency likely wants to build culture and keep you together on one hand. It also doesn’t want to hurt people - and get terrible pr.
Explain it to them and it should be ok. If not, you have to decide if the risk is worth working for them (it’s easy to say walk away but we all have to eat in the short term).
Even the most hardened agency would understand your situation. Just explain it
Tried this in the US, holding company did not care about anyones underlying health issues or justified reasons to work remotely and wanted people in the office. Mass exodus of people as a result.
What havas 1 said. They don’t care about underlying health issues in the u.s. It happened to me too. They’re easy to let people go. Not sure how it is in Australia, but based on me plus many other peoples experience in the u.s it won’t matter.
I think you have to have that conversation anyways with the company and if you have to “resign” which is how most companies positioned it. I think your choice is clear, your wife’s probably more important than a job.
Working in the United States is a joke at this point. You could be in the hospital and still be expected to dial into meetings
Sadly you’re not wrong
Talk to HR, this sounds 100% justified
I agree with the comments saying you should speak to HR/ your leadership about continuing remote work. However, if you just started this job, you should have discussed with when you received the offer. I made my intentions to stay remote clear in my interview process and had permanently remote written into my contract.
Just explain it to them. With your wife’s condition they have to get where you’re coming from. If not they are nuts. I have had to do that with my company albeit I’m not new there but have had to be very cautious throughout Covid due to a fragile family member.
