I take the dogs on 2-3 walks a day, about 15 minutes each. I do laundry and other chores when I have a few spare minutes, and I'll try to fit in a cardio session on my elliptical during lunch. I have a good amount of down time, and I try to use it to be as productive as possible around the house.
I take breaks every couple of hours. Go outside and enjoy the fresh air. Do some light cleaning or catching up on chores, or get a quick exercise in. I usually take a longer lunch and either take a nap or do some reading just to get away from the screen and give my eyes a rest. How do you break it up?
Y’all have breaks in the day?!
How do you break up your day when youre in the office?
Several walks everyday. It's a surprisingly simple and effective part of staying in shape
I love to do a midday workout. Gym is less busy and it’s my reward to get through the AM portion of the day. Also helps me come back for the second half of the day clear headed and sometimes I find some work inspiration.
I take a break, I go on a walk or just sit outside. When I am deep in my work, I play Spotify. I don't have premium. So every time the ads come on, I know that is my break time.
It goes the same as if I was in office except for a few things.
1. Lunch break may be a nap or a walk
2. Early morning commute and evening commute is walking to/from my computer.
Rising Star
Walking outside, a quick errand or gym session.
I'll usually get stuff done that i normally couldn't if i go on-site. I might do 2 hours of actual work when I'm at home. As long as I have my phone with Outlook and Teams showing me online I'm good!
I have 4 kids, so I have to take several breaks throughout the day. Dog walks at least once a day (preferably in the morning before I get bogged down in emails)
