What affordable office chair did you buy for your home office? I bought a cheap one when the pandemic started and it’s hurting my back. I now go to the office more often just to avoid using that chair! What’s a good office chair for back support?

Not exactly affordable, but Herman Miller chairs are completely worth it. They start at £400+, but you can try getting a second hand chair for less (and they’re very durable!)

Definitely a used HM. Got my aeron for ~250 and it's the real deal

Agree with the others. Get a Herman miller. I have a HM Mira that i love. Bought it refurbished for a couple hundred. Best money I’ve ever spent

Ask your employer if you can take your office chair home. The majority of my coworkers took theirs home.

Herman Miller is the king of kings when it comes to chairs but a little pricey. I picked up a chair from Branch which has been great so far

Humanscale all the way. The Smart Diffrient chair took all my ergonomic pains away.

I really like the Lazboy office chair. Picked it up from Costco and it’s pretty comfortable!

I’m taller, so I bought an office chair sized for taller people on Amazon. Now I hate the in-office chairs because they don’t fit my body as nicely. 😅

I have a Herman Miller chair.

Hello RSM coworkers! I am thrilled to be moving to RSM into a Scheduler roll. I just found out yesterday and want to be as prepared as possible in the next steps.

So here are my questions.

How long does the background study take? I'm guessing admin staff have a study that is faster and less complicated than someone in Tax ect.

When training at home what did you need that wasn't supplied by RSM? My home office is well stocked but I want to be as prepared as possible.

Thanks in advance!

My wife and I just had our second child, and we have also been dealing with her cervical cancer diagnosis. It has been a stressful year, to say the least. I want to do something nice for her, but money is tight right now because of the cancer treatment costs, and her being on unpaid leave because of the cancer treatments. What is something low cost I can do that will be a nice “couples thing” so we can de-stress, but also make her feel special?
