I heard they are asking randomly to stand up... so make sure your boxers are nice

Full suit bro. Shirt and tie. Just no pants. Don’t stand up like Jeffrey Toobin 😂.

dress for the job you want 😏

No short sleeves

Literally just went through interviews for the same industry and role. I wore a button down and sport coat with gym shorts underneath, but make sure you tuck in your shirt into your shorts, otherwise it's obvious because of the shirt ruffles

I think smart casual is just fine

I wore a dress shirt, tie, suit top, and then black sweat pants…just in case I accidentally stand up.

I wore a white and blue striped dress shirt no tie, first button unbuttoned. Got the job.

Morgan Stanley Referral?

I'm interested in a new grad quantitative analyst position at Morgan Stanley (Montreal, Quebec, Canada). It's a hybrid position

I have 1yr experience as a data analyst at AMD (Advanced Micro Devices) and feel like I fit the requirements very well.

I'm happy to talk in more detail if there's anyone who can reach out! Any help with the referral is greatly appreciated!

Lastly, if you could just reach out with advice about the process prep, I'd be very grateful as well!

didn't pass the loop for an L7 role earlier this month, and i found a good suitable l6 role. One of the interviewers added me on linkedin a few weeks back- is it inappropriate if i reach out to him to say thanks and ask him to put in a word for me with hiring manager for the l6 role?
i don't know y i was not selected, and i think its still worth it to reach out. 1 because i think i did well in the interviews and 2 its saves both of us time - to know if i should pursue further or not. Thoughts?

However, I am worried if I accept the tech role and I do not become permanent I will be looking again for a job in 12-24 months and my CV won't be showing a managerial position. Won't be showing any progress.
