ACN hasn't given me a raise in 2 years, so COL sounds amazing.
****It depends on market***** In NYC, raises are significantly above COL. Bonuses are usually 8-13% unless you have low performance.
But I would add that in NYC you don’t get any raise for promotion. It’s just the standard annual increase.
7% isn’t much frankly.
Never assume you can negotiate during annual reviews Typically the negotiating is whether to leave and perhaps they’ll come back with a counter. But you don’t typically negotiate an annual raise.
It's not much, but I will blame that on my awful negotiation skills. I also have an offer for their analyst group with 2 years of experience, so I didn't feel like I had a whole lot of negotiation power there. I'm hoping that since a promotion to consultant would be in the future id be able to receive an in market salary at that point. Is that a reasonable thing to assume?
The dc office is mainly about commercial work. I know that we have a federal, state and local practice but that group is still super small.

Raises are pretty shitty and usually just COL. Depends on market performance. Real raises come when promoted. PTO is non negotiable but you could always work something out informally with the GM

Raises are not great. Negotiate hard during hiring - that's when they have the most flexibility.
Annual bonus is good.
What is considered "good" for annual bonus?
Definitely messed up during initial negotiations, but it definitely is a gig that I'd like to take up for the peace of mind and less hours. The salary they offered me is a 7% increase from what i currently make. That's why I'm trying to figure out how to best maneuver it once there
Anyone have insights on Slalom’s VA office? Is it Federal clients only? Commercial in VA would be nice
