Hi All,
I just got a call from KLA Company's HR that I have cleared final round and there is a HR round today evening for salary discussions.
The role is for Frontend Developer(Angular).
I have 3.1 years of experience.
CCTC - 13.2 LPA (all fixed)
Holding offer of 17.5 from service company in Pune.
Does anybody have any reviews for this company for the s/w department?
How much should I ask?
What are the other ways I can negotiate? Like do they provide RSUs?

Thank you

If CA starts to sink into the ocean, I’ll probably leave.
HAHAHHAHAH you make a very good point.
The only reason I would leave (native) is I don’t want to keep working 40 plus hours a week to enjoy the finer things here in SD. At some point sooner then later I want to enjoy more quality time with my spouse and pets. Cost of living is extremely high here, but honestly the weather, beaches, restaurants, parks and zoos are amazing. We will see what the future brings in SD but looks like it’s getting busier due to all the new complexes their building are they are not inexpensive. Best of luck!
Oh, democrats are a great reason. Luckily San Diego is a pretty conservative city, but living in CA, you still have to deal with their policies
Did you even read?
Non-native, transplant to SD. I love it here, I think it is such a gem of a city (America’s Finest!). The climate, access to outdoors and nature, city amenities and activities! I’ve loved every minute of the years I’ve lived here. But I will be moving out of CA within the next 12 months. Reasons:
1. Mid-thirties and finally starting a family
2. Plan to be a working mom and no family support here in CA
3. Desire to buy a comfortable home on a larger plot of land
4. Desire to build a real estate investment portfolio in US South (need to reduce expenses and increase investment rate to do this)
5. Desire to someday own horses
6. Spouse’s parent has recently been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and he wants to be closer to help
7. Spouse and I both have remote jobs currently
I’ll miss SD though and will always have fond memories. Can’t wait to bring the future kids to explore here someday.
I’m with you. I’ll be moving too!
If you cut the population of SD in half, you would still have tons of traffic and high rent. The roads just aren’t big enough during peak times. And there aren’t nearly enough apartments and new builds to satisfy demand at low prices.
I’m on the way out though. I just started my own firm and there isn’t much keeping me here after that as my clients and employees can literally be found anywhere.

As an SD native, I grew up knowing that when I moved out from home, basically my whole check would go to rent. But I'm at the point in my life where I make a decent wage and want to be able to invest and save for a home and doing that in SD seems less and less realistic. I'm lucky that I work from home and that my job will pay the same no matter where I live, so for me, I would move out of California in order to save on rent and make my paycheck go a lot further than it currently is.
Idk when/if that would happen but my timeline would be around 3 years from now if I do.

Never leave!
Car mods. So many mods from exhaust, to intake systems are illegal in California 😩
I want a yard and a garden. Don’t really want to pay a million dollars for it. Probably gonna leave this year.
Your a manager and your judging people behind a phone? How old are you? You can play in a very small playground. Wait until you can afford to pay before it’s too late, ass
