What can partner comp look like at a small (~20 attorney) boutique of mostly ex-biglaw people in a VHCOL? Obviously this is a borderline impossible question to answer without more specifics, so I’m really just looking for anecdotal experience. I’m a senior biglaw lit associate who hasn’t been able to make the jump in-house, so I’m considering a small firm option. Great people, interesting matters, decent WLB. I’m curious what could comp be like if I love it and go for partner?

How long does your firm wait to tell you your compensation after a promotion?

Promotions went out Jan 3 and compensation will be revealed late Feb. Is this typical?

On other hand has offer from Israel product based telecom company on Devops role with 60% salary hike and hybrid work policy(planning to switch domain to cyber security 1 year later)

Currently a big 4 consultant and got an offer from FAANG for a strategy and ops role that would bring my total comp up 60%. Today I got an email from TCS to complete an ibegin registration. Whenever I login, it is asking me to enter PAN details and mail ID. If I give, it is giving a warning that my account is already present in ibegin and telling me to login with another email ID. As if I remember, one of the consultancy, used my PAN to register in ibegin but I’m unable to login since it is registered by their mail ID and my PAN.

Compared to FRM, CFA is tough because it requires an enormous commitment to complete all three levels
