I hear you. Taking breaks that fulfill me really help. I usually do coloring in a coloring book but sometimes I need quiet in a dark room. Take care <3
I’m so sorry. I get overwhelmed too end of day. For me, making sure I get enough sleep and then I need a break end of day for 3-4 hours before I see my laptop again.
Also, I push non important calls / I block off “thinking time” on my calendar every day - it’s not open for anyone. I use that to do deep thinking work, get lunch, power nap (I find a corner sofa in a different floor for this), or just go for a brisk walk in the sun. That helps!

Quit my job recently for this same reason, you’re not alone. I wish I had advice, I’m figuring it out as well.
Taking an antidepressant helped me a lot. But ultimately if the work is toxic, that may not be enough…
