^ I take it you are in Deloitte because you have a terrible British accent?
^ hahaha. Nope. That's BCG. McKinsey just wants to know if you sound intelligent enough to believe you're intellectually superior to others, thereby granting you an air of credibility for short periods of time. I highly suggest faking a British accent.

😉 correct McK1. My British accent is simply terrible. #developmentarea
McK looks for big balls coated with a heavy layer of intellect and personality. Not having any association with Deloitte whatsoever doesn't hurt
I went to Arizona State - probably from your beck of the woods
Anecdotally heard that significant portion of their interview style is seeing how you react to unpredictable changes and/or simulated client pressure. For example, you may be in the middle of one road of analysis and will immediately be asked to consider something unrelated, to see how well you maintain clarity of thought. Would corroborate with people who went through the process, though.
^^😱😱
Awe... thanks for proving my point McK2. 👍🏻 If you say that comment with a cheeky British accent, I bet it sounds just like you. Throw in something about the Ivy League school you went to for extra snobbishness too.

OP - it's a case interview, we look for people who have basic math skills, a conceptually sound brain (can tackle ambiguity) and has a good personality (e.g., not timid). Not rocket science
