Asking the question we are all thinking. Benches were already at a seasonal high point, especially since the market volatility in January delayed some contract signing.
Watching the bench stack up quickly, our O&G clients halting all contractor spend, and now clients implementing wfh (not impacting projects heavily yet, but only a matter of time).
Not to mention the hit that closed client offices give to our pipeline BD efforts. Going to be a rough year. Find a project and hold onto it 🐟, not the time to be picky...
This was good to read right before I was about to confront my SM about some concerns I have about my treatment on the team. I was legit prepared to be okay with getting rolled off following the discussion but I think I’ll sit down and shut up for now. It’s not worth possibly losing my job.

As a former oil and gas employee, we had consultants help with capital cost reductions, improve well operational performance, strategic transformations, digital assessments and then of course all the MX/SAP/Oracle/<insert software name here> type implementation stuff too
