Bain & Company Is it truly easier to get in a smaller MBB office?
Have heard a lot for different opinions on these. The logic is that it’s easier because there is a lot of supply in cities like NY, Chicago and SF, but the counter argument is that the offices with less supply are also way smaller and have a lot less demand.

You'll get a terrifying call from a debt collections agency ~6 months later... speaking from experience
I thought they might hold your last check
The debt is legally in your name, not the firms. If you don't pay it can impact your credit.
Someone told me Amex corp can never impact your credit....? I would think they would withhold your check. Seems logical?
Amex reports only negative information to the credit reporting agencies, so pay it off, or expect to see a plunge in your credit score.
Consider it severance bonus

The card is in your name. It's a personal debt, not a debt of the company. The reason PwC pays it off while you're employed is because of independence rules. The firm audits AmEx, so they cannot have their employees owing AmEx funds on a corporate credit card for independence reasons. Once you're separated from the company that no longer is an issue. The debt is still on your name so if you don't pay it AmEx can send it into collections and report you to the credit reporting agencies, which will ding your personal credit score.
Can I keep the account after I leave? If I open an Amex account they are gonna do a hard pull.
So the firm will never take your last paycheck if you Amex balance is there?
I don't think the firm is legally allowed to withhold from your last paycheck on AmEx charges. Remember these are not the firms debts, they are debts in your name. Also no you can't keep account. Will need to open a new account.
