I have recently joined EY SaT group as senior consultant recently in Netherlands. I’m tripple masters in MS economics, MBA and MS business analytics. Have 4 YOE in different industries but no M&A experience specifically. Any ideas what company should be offering me? I’ll be working as expert on commercial due diligence, FDD and valuation teams and doing automation alongside. is it wise to demand higher salary or promotion soon after I have proven that I can work and do it better than most?EY

Depends on the group for sure. My title is manager in AIG
Depends on the group but I would say SA in the groups that have it.
Unlikely that any firm will let you go to manager directly post mba unless you worked there previously.
For MBA recruiting we bring in at manager (CRG). Director is the equivalent to PL/EM (client facing, day to day project lead).
SA in PEPI 95% of the time.
MBA doesn’t mean you get a fancy new title. Depends on your skills which can still be amateurish after an mba so there’s no right answer to this
Totally depends on group. Rx would probably be analyst / associate depending on background.
Rising Star
I’ve seen associate (restructuring), consultant (generalist cpi group), and manager in AIG & CRG
A joker
Depends. Did you have 3 yrs prior experience? Maybe you get a lower title. Did you have 6+ yrs experience in consulting or the industry you’ll be consulting in? Maybe you get a higher title. MBA doesn’t automatically mean you get a better title. Which is the main reason people should only get mba with meaningful prior experience to maximize title and pay. Undergrad to T100 mba with 0 years experience will not meet a T20 mba with 5 yrs comp or title
