I belong to a local referral group for the past 12 years.It is not letip or BMI. We meet once a month for breakfast. I do not get a lot of business but I get my name out there. I work closely with the attorney and CPA.
if you don't get business after 12 years, why bother? Or am I missing something...
@ A.E I get business, but it is not great. I have built some good relationships over the years and it is just enough to keep it going. It is only 25 bucks a month for the group. This year I received 4 referrals and it was 600k in closed business.
