What is the best place/job to start as a student nurse having just 2 courses to complete my ADN? Is there a way to get started in Clinical trials or pharmaceuticals?

When it comes to being hired with your ADN, do you plan to work bedside? If so find somewhere you can get you CMA. CMA complete patient care and med pass and your schooling should replace the cma class portion you should be able to challenge the exam now.

When applying for jobs practical hands on experience that is applicable to what you will be doing is beneficial. It can also help you start with a higher pay rate because you should have mastered some skill sets before your first ADN job.

Thanks, I will definitely look into Medication aide certification. Their are fast track Phlebotomy schools that might help get certified quickly. I love doing hands on procedures, but get stressed out during lab skills check offs. I hope more practice will give confidence.

Hey guys,

Currently in Saas sales for MDM and AV, but I'm getting tired of the sales side and constant budget chase. Probably also because we get few leads and I have to do a lot of building pipeline from scratch. I'm thinking about taking some online courses to try to move over to cyber security, what would be the easiest step that way career wise- preferably also away fro sales?

I have been in Recruiting and HR for 11 years and thinking about making a career move. Ild love to hear from anyone that’s made a career move from HR to a different role.

So, I've realised there's a problem with developers, a lot of them are coders, not engineers. And another issue, is that, companies don't really care about their progression as far as I'm aware, so what did you guys do in your own time to transition from being a coder to an engineer?

Anyone feel frustrated at times with the super aggressive sales personalities we deal with? My AE is always pushing on every ask no matter how minuscule it is. My vp is super anal about anything we do. I understand these guys pull in huge commissions and bonuses that’s why they are so motivated. However what I personally feel is they just nag us until we do the job according to their spec. Just venting……anyone else feel the same?

I love working in healthcare, there’s nothing like it.
