Chief
Aren’t they still heavy on the firing phase of 2024? I’m not sure if they’re transitioning to the hiring phase of 2025 yet.
Yeah it’s kind of a shit show right now TBH
AC, C, SC, P, SP, D, SD, MD, GM.
Typical consulting "Engagement Manager" range is P/SP. D-MD are primarily concerned with capability (think D&AI, Salesforce, UX, etc.) and account ownership depending on the team & location.
We have a local and global model. GM+ is essentially executive level. Locally, the P&L is location-based and there's only one per location (think NYC, SF, Seattle, etc.).
We also have Global teams which work a little differently (and across all locations), but similar roles apply in a slightly different context.
Post-MBA hire is not standardized like other firms AFAIK. I would guess SC (up to SP) depending on prior experience. Most hires at Slalom are experienced hires so I wouldn't expect to leap frog too many levels.
Highly dependent on location. Probably anywhere from 100-160K is likely. 180K might be possible at SC for a desirable skillset in VHCOL. Slalom complies with pay transparency laws (on job postings) in Denver and NYC by the way.
