What is the ideal age for Marriage for a boy?

How do you handle people’s kids showing up on video meetings? Screaming, kicking, hamming it up, (wasting time.) Everyone else is coo-ing…I’m not a kids person. Heard a technique which is to drop off the call bc you “assume the call is over” (which seems like a great way to get fired especially if it’s a way higher up’s kids - plus it feels rather passive aggressive.) Thoughts?

Salam. 23M here - all my life I’ve had my back on our faith - never really prayed but had imaan (I guess). After bouts of depression from girl problems (🙄), issues within immediate family, being disappointed expectations I had for myself, etc. I’ve been working on bettering my situation over the years. I’m hosting family from America in my home in Europe this week. Being away for just a couple of years has made me really aware of American tendencies. They’re fat and literally are only always thinking of their next meal. We can eat, and they want to talk about dinner. A long post: seeking some perspective. My husband of 2 years that I’ve been in a relationship with for more than 8 years just woke up one day and told me that he’s unhappy in our relationship. I’m devastated because he’s never expressed anything like this in the 8 years. He’s been super supportive and loving, even when we were in a long distance relationship. Do I have to stay in big law if I want to support my parents in their retirement? They basically have little to nothing saved and are 10 yrs from retirement age. I guess part of my question is how much does it cost to support low-spending folks while they’re in retirement (maybe at least by providing modest housing and paying for a couple trips for them to visit family every year)? Anyone here ever been scared by some major differences in materialism with your partner? I’ve been considered “boujee” by some friends but my girlfriend of just over a year is on a whole other level. Lately because of many of her friends getting engaged / married, rings have been mentioned and she’s said pretty much she wouldnt be happy with under 25k.

I come from a very middle class upbringing, and so does she, although she’s influenced by friends dating professional athletes and stuff

I was supportive of Lori when this virus first started but her actions since have dwindled my support of her. I don’t expect her to make every decision correct nor do we have to agree with all of them. I believe she should be correct around 75 percent of the time but I believe she is in the 50 percent range. I know everything doesn’t fall on her shoulder but things haven’t been great as of late. Hopefully they figure out something soon.
