So you mean In-Charge
Non-existent at PwC.
PwC1 is referring to the Core assurance. In Risk, you don't need the CPA and get about a 6% bump depending on the performance, market.
It really depends on the market and past performance. It can go up to 10%. If you have other certifications, that counts in too
If you're not getting that PwC 2, ask for a little more next year.
To clarify: You don't make Senior without the CPA - in Assurance at least. I saw around a 6% bump, mid-year promote.
Ignoring mid year promote above, my minimum expectation for a promotion is 10%. Rationale is 5% for promo, 5% for performance. Obviously, if you don't qualify for the promotion you should be happy either way.
6% for promo or annual raise? That's my lowest annual raise.
Percentages should account for market. If you're saying 10% for the promo only, I'd agree that's high in my market but possible in some. 10% overall is reasonable for a promo considering you'd get an annual raise for your performance.
same as with cpa
Correction @PwC 2 - In Risk, seniors are required to have either CPA/CIA/CISA prior to promotion from senior. Last year I got 9% annual raise + 5% promotion raise = 14% total from A2 > S1 (early promo).

PwC3, wrong! You are referring to internal audit and process assurance. There are few other technology solutions groups under Risk Assurance and they don't need any certifications at all
I stand corrected @PwC 2 - it looks like the RA national teams (ARCA, CP, ESS, & RMCS) indeed do not require certifications. Just out of curiosity – if you decided to leave the firm, what type of industry jobs are available coming from these groups?
They have so many opportunities available. They do not require certifications because there is no one specific certification that will make them qualify to do their job. Example, ARCA associate can have ACDA, MSCE, MCSA, Tableau certification, Qlikview certification or many more. They can work as a data analyst in industry. ESS specializes in ERP systems. There are so many certifications based on different ERPs. There are ERP consultants, developers, implementation specialists, project managers etc as jobs available when they wanna leave the firm.
