There are lot of mixed reviews about Nagarro.. some folks are saying Nagarro do not fire even in covid the only did the pay cuts and did not fire anyone... where as some folks are saying Nagarro is hiring rigorously more than their projects strength so firing will happen for sure and if you are on bench for more than 1 month you are in red zone as the same happened in past... what is the mystery.. can anyone from Nagarro an honest review about this organization.

You should probably understand ours first. 2-2.5 years for APC. Everything else is measured from C promo date. 2-2.5 years for PL. 3.5-4 years for P. 4.5-9 (?) for Partner.
For other firms, lots to consider. Title, comp, actual role all vary. Apples to apples comparisons aren’t always obvious n
Thought PL to P was 2 years or fired?
^ it’s generally 18-24 month window, yes
Everything is clocked back to C promo date. My times are cumulative not incremental
The windows are not that rigid. I know someone who went 2 years 9 months as a PL before making P. I know someone who went 3 years as a C before PL. It’s about the totality of the circumstances.
Thank you for clarifying BCG1. Reading them as cumulative makes sense now. Question: does that mean a P only has a max 4 years to make Partner or be fired?
Again, no. In fact average is 4 years. But the broader point is that windows are not as strict as you seem to think. The real question is not “how long has it been” it’s “from where you are now is there a realistic chance of you making it”. If your path is clear and people support you but stuff is just taking a bit longer to come together you might hang around for a late window promote. On the other hand if it becomes clear early in your P tenure that you have no chance then you’ll be counseled out. It’s not a cut and dried rule.
Bain general - 2 years at AC, 1 year at SAC (business school or direct promote), 2 years at consultant, ~1 year at CTL (variable), 3 years at manager (variable), 1 year at principal (variable), partner
Great info thanks for the insight. So when someone isnt going to make it to the next level, they are managed out, not outright fired?
