Hi Fishes, I have an interview with PwC AC in the coming week. My tech stack is Power BI, SQL, SSRS,SSIS and Tableau. YEO -4 Current CTC is 9 LPA. During the initial call with the recruiter he asked for ny expected CTC and I asked for 17 LPA. Can anyone from PwC comment on this? Do engagement teams typically have a mix of people from both parts of the firm or how is there a line drawn between the type of work I would do? You don't have to give back signing bonus if you're laid off.
Imply you are seeking legal assistance well before you actually do (and avoid doing so if you can avoid it including walking away): use language like “I’ll need to consult my council on this…”.
If you have a friend that understands HR ask them to help proof any emails and put EVERYTHING in writing. Including telling them your lawyer has requested their notes following any meeting or phone call you have about it.
Remember the game is to raise the business risk sufficiently that HR write you a check or write off a claim - not to get drawn into a protracted legal dispute. No HR manager wants to get sued for 7K - don’t threaten them; but signal to them through your language you are definitely willing to make this a headache for them.

E1 if you have a case of let go due to performance issues, highly recommend considering resigning first so that on future job applications you don’t need to say you were fired due to cause.
