What is your company’s holiday schedule? I think time off is an important part of mental health care at work and I’ve had some companies that gave great benefits around time off. One company gave us the last two weeks of the year off - mandatory. I haven’t seen anything that great since. Does your job offer any great schedules to close off the year?

Hi-I have 120K in cash in HYSA. After keeping emergency fund aside. Still have 75-80K available that I plan to invest. After 401k, HSA, IRA and monthly expenses: we are left with 6K every month. So investing 12K every month in market. My worry is with that rate - it will take us 12-14 months to move the extra 75-80K mentioned above. However do not want to make a bulk move. Any advise how to plan the switch. At present have 60K invested in stocks. Thanks

When someone tells me bad news regarding their health, I say everything I am supposed to say (I’m sorry to hear that, I’m here for you, etc) EXCEPT “everything is going to be ok”. Because I can’t guarantee that and I really don’t know if everything is going to be ok. I was taken aback recently when a friend told me I am calloused and cold-hearted for not being able to say those words. Is she right? Hi, weird question for this forum, so I apologize. I’m trying to be creative here and use the tv stand that I have. The issue is that it has an open back so you can see all my tv wires. I can’t hide the wires because my building won’t let me open the wall. My idea was to slip a tile sheet that is wall behind the tv stand as a back, but I need the tile cut to the specific heigh and width of the tv stand. Does anyone know where I can take this tile sheet to get cut to the specific measurements?
