Where my McKinsey EA's at??
I'm curious what the average salary is for an Associate Agent. I'm licensed & do everything after the sale is made as well as refer new business. I have 14 years in the industry but have been at the current company less than a year, so I know that plays a part as well. Anyone in a like-position by chance?State Farm Allstate Travelers

Guaranteed* long term fully remote.
*unless we change our minds later.
I understand the skepticism but I know the firm well because I was there before going in house so I believe it. Yes, if you bill less you make less, but most people tend to bill around 1600 and do alright
First, congratulations! This is a hard decision, and would depend on your career aspirations. Personally, I think I would take (B) since it seems to have more autonomy and control over your life. A seems like a great option too, but way more formal and seems like it would have more risk of lay off.
I would be weary of the “no real billable” claim. It. An be a trap.
That 9% 401k goes hard man
Is this a question? Remote and chill. Enjoy it. I’d murder for that job.
The wrong in-house job can be as bad as a bad firm job. Sounds like there is a lot against it. Which is your gut telling you is a better fit (can you normally trust your gut?)? What about the clients/chain of command in the firm job?
I would take B
Honestly both sound great and I’d say you can’t lose with either so swing for the fences.
How sure are you that the Counsel position is chill? I have been told that before about jobs and it turned out not to be true.
Sounds as if the law firm Counsel is the way to go.
I’m really curious where this in house offer is from because it sounds exactly like the position I’m interviewing for…
Ah okay. Just a coincidence then. Best of luck!
B for sure
