What kind of roles and firms would someone looking for a strategic, high powered job in music or media look for? Trying to understand where the MBB skill/mindset could actually fit in

Graduating senior. Have choices between MBB and SWE at FAANG. Not sure what to do. Long term I’d love to be in a small startup or a leader in a tech company. Not sure which path is better for that. Any thoughts?

Just got another rejection... Is exiting to FAANG or MB really this hard? Trying to go tech.. or mbb, but not getting anywhere. I have 2 masters (mba, ms) from top schools, been in consulting for over 10 years, I am confident that I know my stuff well..but still I keep getting rejected. Interviewed with Google, Amazon, Cisco, McKinsey, and a few others and every-time there is something that is not a match... are the hiring managers looking for like 100% match? That will never happen!!!

Fully regret completing my MBA at a non target even tho I got into some M7s, mainly for ego reasons. I closed it but it was up long enough for them to see it. Now they both pretend like they saw nothing and I felt panic for some reason.
