What should an AUSA expect in terms of salary raises in years 1, 2, 3? (Currently AD-25 or AD-26 if that matters). Also, curious whether raises always come the same time each year (start of new calendar year)? Are there also ‘performance raises/bonuses’ as well when you get more senior that could happen any time? Always been a bit confused by the internal memos/guidance on the subject, approaching 10 months or so in after coming over from private practice. Thanks for any info!

How do I determine the likelihood of getting a Top Secret Security clearance? I am qualified for a number of federal jobs but haven’t applied because of an allegation of misconduct at my job five years ago. I have plenty of positive equities since then and evidence of rehabilitation for admission to the bar. I just have no idea how much forgiveness is possible in a TS security clearance.
