Just got told by Infosys recruiter that they want to make me an offer but I need to wait until they have a client lined up. Is this normal? I suspect they would rather hire a H1B than me.

Had an interview with another consulting firm and the interviewer goes “Yeah I worked 90 hours this week and have 200% utilization but my team is SO. NICE. Everyone is great here” ...... lol pass
EY has laid off huge number of Visa candidates without giving adequate notice. Some were given couple of hours as well. The company used to be very visa friendly, all the goodwill build is broken

I've pulled out of my positions this week, and gone to 100% cash. Decided it was best for my mental health to stay out of the market until three election. I know that time in the market beats timing the market... But I've decided to do this anyways because I have a really strong gut feeling. Screw it.
