Has anyone had luck renegotiating salary on a new role you just started because another better offer came up?

I’m promoting an Account Supervisor to Account Director in D.C. and I only have super experienced AD’s so I don’t have the lower range salary. Can someone share the salary market for new AD’s in DC for small ad agency firm (150 staff across the US).

Any tips or advice on negotiating salary when receiving a job offer? How can I ask for more without the risk of losing the offer?

I’ve recently become depressed with the soul sucking nature of working for megacorps and huge PE funds. Second year staff at Deloitte right now - any suggestions for a new path? Not gonna lie. My bracket has already gone to shit.

I did a sono before trying to start IUI to check that tubes are open. Doctor said that tubes are fine but I have a couple small uterine polyps. Since I never tried to get pregnant she suggested trying IUI to see and if it doesn’t work to get polyps taken out. But I read it can cause miscarriage too so a bit nervous. Has anyone gotten pregnant successfully with small polyps?
