What’s going on? I am not getting any call backs or interviews not even with a Big 4 on my resume

Hello, we've recently started a community focused on FAANG Interview preps. Wondering what kind of content people might be interested to see in such communities.

What level and service line were you at the big 4, and what percent salary increase did you get once you left? I’m a S1>S2, and the offers I’m seeing are around 10%-15% higher, which feels a little low. But maybe I’m being unrealistic.

Im a MBA holder and currently pursuing CISA. It's been awhile since I have started to have high interest in pursuing a career as IT auditor. Anybody here would like to refer me into any Big 4, very open for entry positions.

I’ve spent 4 years in Big 4, with about half that time in FDD. I feel like Corp Dev is what I ultimately want, but am wondering if a stint in banking could be worth it. If I’m not interested in PE or other buyside alternatives, is the pit stop in IB worth it?
Mainly wonder if IB is a must have box to check, or if you can work your way up the ladder without.

If you are working in IC ( incentive compensation of Salesforce) Need your help on giving an overview of the work to my friend who have an interview in Novartis, JD had keywords like sale force, incentive optimization, javelin etc.

I messed up my screenshare in a meeting with 2 colleagues and showed my personal email that had scheduling info for my onsite interviews with another company. I closed it but it was up long enough for them to see it. Now they both pretend like they saw nothing and I felt panic for some reason. How were your experiences when letting it out the bag early like that?

Is there any advantage to telling a company you are interested in working for in the future where you decided to accept an offer from? Or does it not matter? I accepted an offer a week ago with a great company (Company A) that for this season in my life seems like a great fit and only strengthens what I have to offer company B down the road. Company B just sent me a request for interview and I want to keep the door open with Company B but they were just very late in extending an interview.

How is the FDD presence for BDO/GT/RSM FDD in the South/Southwest? How is the workload and compensation compared to the Big 4?
Have heard that the mid-tier you get more exposure to the entire deal process, is this true as well? Any insight is appreciated.

Are there any fundamental differences between a salary negotiation during the start (applying for the job) vs. Salary negotiation during a performance review (you’ve been employed for x time and looking for a raise). I’m in the latter and wondering if there are any maneuvers that are different I should be doing.

Hi everyone. I'm pretty early in my career (just over 1 YOE) & not really enjoying my current role as a Consultant/Developer because of the type of projects I get combined with some mobility issues. I’ve been working at a rather prestigious midsized firm in a big city for almost a year and a half now. I have been having a lot of trouble picking up work from senior partners. We are required to bill at least 150 hours per month to meet our requirement. My months are typically only 110-130 hours. It seems like the senior partners already have their “go to” associate for things. Does anyone have any suggestions on how i can increase my workload? I reach out for work pretty much weekly.

1st yr at a nyc v50 firm doing general transactional work. I know the lateral market for transactional lawyers is hot but not as hot for juniors. I just want a change of scenery because my current firm is bleeding good associates / not giving great training imo / and just seems small. Would lateralling this early feasible?
