What is the culture like, type of work and reputation of Capco in the Data & Analytics space?
I have some good ex colleagues who moved over there and also looked up on LinkedIn and see lots of seemingly smart and accomplished people in their D&A team in the UK.
I'll ask my ex colleagues too, but wanted to see if people here have any opinion or information on this too.
TIA
Which is good to join..Publicis sapient or LTI?

They hold up a doll and say “where did the client hurt you?”
Sounds like something out of Billions
Nothing. It’s a different perspective. We employ in-house org psychologists who form our org development team. Why not use them?
Your interviews with the consultants are going to focus on your work experience. Your interview with the psychologist is going to focus more on your drivers and motivators. Like all psychometrics, there are no wrong answers
Wendy!
Really?
Every single person that works at the company goes through this, consultant or corporate services - it’s no big deal.
It’s like any other behavioural interview but held with a professional and not some consultant with a list of provided questions.
Why wouldnt you want an org psych to have a chat with you?
Lets dispel some nonsense....not going to be a clinical psych, probably not a forensic psychologist, not really developmental or rehab psych...and not one of the other 20 types of specialized psychologist there is either.
So....an org psych having a chat with you seems perfectly fine...after all they are trained to determine suitability for hiring into a role, dealing with culture, and evaluating / influencing performance.
Questions may include how you react to stress, ambiguity, communication preference, tolerance for certain known situations, default thinking type (e.g. in problem solving situations vs. High speed reactionary situations).
Actually, they also sit in on year-end performance review meetings and provide flavor to your year-end results and input into your development plan for the following year.
I just assumed it was to validate that you also believe a conspiracy theory that McKinsey has taken your business
What is the psychologist trying to discern that a future potential coworker would be able to discern?
@AP1, I appreciate the explanation
Ok...I also have a psych degree but I know they can do their job better than I can do it. 🤷♀️ It's a different recruiting model, NBD.
Only a waste of time if you didn’t get an offer
^ D2 some recruiters may have psych degrees.
And if they are hired as a recruiter....they may be a crap psych, or an uncertified one (which takes a number of units each year to maintain)
I have a psych undergrad... I dont go around calling myself one....you probably did a drink and paint session one time, or escape room...you dont go around calling yourself Rembrandt or Liam Neeson do you?
To make sure you don’t bring in guns after they stress you out with 5-day travel
As mentioned before, it's basically a more qualified person doing a behavioral based interview. You can't tell me that your typical consultant actually effectively gives a behavioral based interview. It was virtually the same questions as EY gives to campus hires, but the follow up questions and analysis of your response are better. I was surprised how enjoyable it was. Maybe I should talk to a psych more....
This sounds like a great way to develop a high performance org at a deeper level! I wish all firms had this
They’ll ask questions and you’ll leave with your Myers-Briggs ;)
I've heard of trading firms do this for example I know Citadel does this to screen traders. Didn't think consulting firms do this
It’s just a behavioral interview.
