First 2 years for CSR is about to be over, and I’m looking at the value of the card against the annual fee. Combined with my other cards (Chase Freedom Unlimited & Flex) and deducting the $300 travel fee, the net benefit is $76. Is that enough to justify keeping the card? In April they said I have the job still waiting. I am a project accountant III to a finance business manager.Could be long nights &stress. Still unknown pay maybe 20k increase.. Last week I was offered a govt job at NGA (Budget analyst) 40k increase not guaranteed remote. 45 min drive +retirement

Looking for respectful ways to manage helping people in need of a job or seeking mentorship. I get 3-4 requests a week from mutual contacts asking if I can connect with a former colleague (always broad). Typically the ask is a 30-45 min call. I’ve been laid off, I know how hard a time it is, but equally am working long hours, parenting and want to reserve time for those I know. How do others manage these extra calls into their weeks?
