Other than the obvious: a plant! If I’m spending hours and hours at my desk alone in my apartment, I like having something pretty and alive nearby 🌺

I got two 24” matching monitors for under $200ea and hardware on Amazon to mount them on my desk side by side. Gets them off the desk and a cleaner look plus better visibility and allows me to keep my laptop shut as I don’t need to use it for the screen.

If you look for deals you can go a step further. Huge game changer was a set of 1440p 27” monitors for 220 each. One monitor runs the government virtual machine while my personal desktop is better for productivity.

Wide screen curved monitor. 2 applications open side by side makes so much difference.

A monitor, a desk clamp mount for it, a kvm to switch between personal and work laptop, a rubber plant, a reed diffuser, a fan, a furry cat which just sleeps.

Portrait monitor for word documents has been helpful. Standing desk has also been nice

Buying the standing desk, the anti fatigue mat, and some other small products helped a lot. https://joinfishbowl.com/comment_ufaf5k This is the best review and discount code (R-FLAT30) I have come across. We bought several autonomous products and overall satisfied with our purchase. Thanks v

I’ve had back pain, either in lower back or sciatic nerve for the past 8 months. I got released from physical therapy around the holidays because I was making improvements and wasn’t in pain. However, since returning to work and working busy season hours it’s difficult to stay seated for most of the day. I bought a standing desk, but was wondering if anyone has any suggestions? I need to make some serious changes as I’m 27 and should not have this much back pain so young 😢

Ladies, advice on sharing an office space with your spouse? I’ve been working in the dining room for months while my husband worked in our (previously my) home office. Over the holidays, he bought two lovely new desks and bookshelves for us to reconfigure the office for both of us to use. I expressed concern that it would not work for both of us to be on calls simultaneously, which he dismissed. Desks were delivered and we started yesterday, and to be frank, it sucks.
