If you are hired as a campus recruit, it typically takes 3 years for average to above average performers to make SC. Id use that to compare titles to Big 4. I think it is somewhat common for MBAs to be hired in as SCs, bit there is variance, there. I'm a campus hire that is now in my second year of SC in megatech making $95k base. I got in early, and my esop balance is fat right now. Bonuses have been less than impressive, esp compared to Big 4.
IT background, engineering degree from top tier university. I've been with WMP for about 4.5 years, which encompasses all of my post undergrad career. I can only speculate on the salary differences. I'd imagine that MBAs and exp hires would make more than an organically grown SC, but that's just the way the world works. DM me if you have other Qs, I will give you honest answers
I got an offer from them coming out of MBA. SC role at 115k in Chicago. Prior to school, I had 3.5 years of industry experience if that helps
Which bschool?
West Monroe Partners
Thanks, WM1. Can you clarify your bg? How many yrs of exp do you in total post-undergrad? How does the salary of those with MBAs coming in as an SC differ from an exp. hire or campus recruit that worked to an SC?
Very helpful. Thanks so much WM1 and KPMG1!
