What’s up with the lack of retirement benefits at Sidley Austin LLP? Attorneys can contribute to 401k but firm does not match — not a cent, nothing, zilch! Doesn’t this make a Sidley salary effectively less valuable relative to peer firms? Any peers that also don’t provide a 401k match?

How long should it typically take for a company/agency to send over an offer after they’ve asked you for your compensation details? I can’t tell if I’m being ghosted or they’re just getting their ducks in rows. 😅

I am SAP HCM consultant having 4.10 years of experience. I feel that this module doesn’t have any growth. My first switch took me to 9LPA from 6LPA and now the second switch is being offered for 11.5LPA where I can see my fellow friends in SAP having more than 15LPA at the same experience on their second switch itself. Should I be worried about my skillset? Any insights would highly be appreciated. I feel stuck.

Completely and totally miserable at my firm and just need a space to vent because my friends are tired of hearing about it. I wish the worst part about it was the amount of work, rather than the completely toxic culture, lack of appreciation, arbitrary and back/breaking deadlines, lack of mentorship/feedback/training, and the fact that the associates act like they don’t even know each other. I cry every day and constantly am made to feel stupid for not understanding the highly technical (cont.)

Does anybody know how to stop the recruiter emails? I am about to lose my mind. The sheer audacity of the recruiter who emailed me yesterday to ask me to return to the firm I left last year has sent me over the edge.
