Some things are worth talking about. Even on stupid anonymous apps, fairness and justice are worth arguing for. How the hell else do things ever change?
OP, you want a reason? ^^^ As women I'd say we all know most of our male counterparts have these views, but when shit like this pops us, well, hell, it's an anonymous app so now I don't have to worry about calling my ED a misogynist to his face, let me vent all of my rage. It's not easy being a woman, period (very much pub intended boys), but it's definitely not a fucking cake walk being a woman in a male dominated field either. The rage is real.

@A2 you should listen to the freakonomics podcast about the wage gap. The 75% stats that are thrown around are extremely misleading and not really representative of reality. It's really much closer to 95%, which, while not perfect, is a lot better than what people think

Hate the gender discussion. They always use an average. How many women are derrickhands or tradesmen? Men do ALL of the most dangerous jobs and obviously have higher average income. I would love to see the average woman pick up and turn a 100 lb wrench.
Reason I ask is I was considering a move. Smaller group so can stand out easier, have beat us out for some good work, and I heard the travel schedule is not as intense for the most part (they data gather at the client for a week then work in home office team rooms, then go back for read outs-sometimes). I have 3 years at McKinsey

@Accenture1, I spent two years on the ground in the Eagle Ford in a job that skews the wage statistics for those that have an agenda. The work was vastly male dominated because most women were not physically capable and secondly have little interest in doing it.
