What’s worse than getting ghosted by email? Getting ghosted on LinkedIn. It baffles my mind to see ad agency HR and talent recruiters NOT accept connection requests. Why are you even on LinkedIn?

How does the referral system work? Should I apply from the website and then ask for a referral or is there a chance to ask for an employee to refer internally? Would the latter option be considered ahead of the first option?

Had a first round interview scheduled for a large CPG brand. My interviewer never called me, and I emailed following up to confirm the call. It’s been over a day and no response. What is going on with recruiters? I tried giving them the benefit of the doubt, but not even an email back saying “something came up” or “we’ve moved on” ? Had what had to be the best call with a recruiter I’ve ever had — she seemed so excited to pass my work to her teams, received the sweetest follow up email from her, but now it seems like she’s ghosting me. The recruiter for freelance at Havas is the worst. She’ll email and ask for my availability then ghost. Also brought me in for an interview & didn’t even tell them I freelanced there before.

Tfw a recruiter reaches out and asks if you’re around for a chat... Only to never respond to you again after you say yes. Just, why?!
