What’s your Monday ritual to get through the madness? Every Monday, I spend 30 minutes cleaning up chaos I didn’t create. Broken Zoom links, outdated decks, login issues, meeting conflicts... before I even get to my actual work, I’m stage-managing the entire show. It’s like everyone else walks on set and expects the lighting to work, the coffee to be hot, and the script to be ready.

This is pretty much my exact workflow as well. It starts with coffee and a quick run through my inbox. Then I'm confirming schedules, making sure everything is added to my calendar and that I'm prepared for the week ahead and moving on to the real work once that's confirmed. Those Monday mornings always hit different. And not in a good way 😂.

My Monday mornings aren't very different than any other day. I check the calendar, make sure I'm prepared for anything that's coming up in the department, and check for any correspondence that may have arrived. It's honestly not very chaotic, but I guess that depends on the people on the team.

I was recently offered a Zoom interview. The school had 10 interview slots for me to choose from. Three were one day this week and the rest are next week. I chose the first time slot available. Should I have waited until one of the last slots so I was fresher on their mind when choosing a candidate? I am just sitting here stressing out until I here something. Also, do interviewers still appreciate a hand written thank you for the interview?

I know another AA that handles 3+ people but idk if she’s hourly or salary. Any thoughts?
