I think most people have said it, but C if you're open to staying for more money/promotion/name your price, D if you just want out. The only person I've ever told at stage A/B was my art director.
As soon as you tell them you're looking they'll start making plans to replace you, and if they find a candidate they like they won't wait until you're ready to push you out the door.
Had a buddy do A. Got fired on the spot. Just saying.
