I’m happy to have a cordial conversation. I enjoy hearing from people who can respectfully disagree.
I think the mandate is despicable. It is a tyrannical move that will backfire in the long run as it is confirming the belief that many people who don’t wish to take the vaccine have - that the government just wants control. It’s equivalent to a parent saying “Because I said so…”
There’s too much poor messaging, and do-as-I-say-not-as-I-do.

Yes, I kind of regret getting my vaccinations at this point. I think I probably already had gotten Covid in January 2020 and I am a healthy 30 year old. So, probably no boosters for me. 🤣
Vaccination is necessary for the safety and health of the population. As a teacher I care about my students emotionally, physically and academically. If we are not vaccinated how are we protecting our students and providing a learning none restrictive learning environment? And How are we protecting ourselves?

I think vaccination has been shown to be a great help, especially for those at high risk of negative outcomes as a result of getting covid (especially those in poor health and elderly).
It hasn't been proven to be necessary for those who've had Covid and retain natural protection, nor has it been demonstrated to be necessary for children, who are not at high risk.
I'm vaccinated, but I haven't been convinced that the vaccine is the cure all. Especially as we're seeing the positive benefits of the vaccine decline over time, but natural immunity retain.
