When you win a pitch worth tens of millions of dollars for your agency how much gratitude should the agency show you? Do the management get a pitch bonus?

It's your job to win the pitch. Congrats, you get to keep your job ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

like

You single handedly won nothing unless you did all the work, came up with all concepts, executed everything, managed the entire pitch process and pitched alone. Agree with Mccann 1. Congrats! You did your job! <pat on back> now you get a huge budget to create an awesome campaign. Your agency owes you nothing.

I've never received or heard of anyone getting a pitch bonus.

Management get an annual bonus derived from a number of factors, including wins and loses. Some agencies pay out bonuses to staff, but that practice has been waning in the gig economy. You might get an Amex card or a party, but that's about it. Congrats!

I helped in winning a hundred million dollar account last year. My reward is that I get to keep my job and now do a second one. Lol. Keeps me on my toes I guess.

If you have an employment agreement that comes with a "bonus range", it could help you get a couple more points. Your Agency probably views this win as a basic requirement of your job. So keep good notes, leverage it at review and bonus season, and add it to your resume when the time is right.

I have over 12 years in B2B sales/sales management experience along with a graduate degree. I am wanting to shift gears and I am at a point where I can invest time in myself to learn through practical experience. The new industry I am wanting to pursue is real estate investment. I have read all the books but want some hands on experience on the property management side. How could I best leverage my skills for a role in this, and what should my expectations be for negotiation in compensation?

Interviewed for Deloitte S&A Tech Strategy SC and got a verbal offer for Consultant instead. I negotiated the offer to 120K salary and 10K signing bonus. I’m a boomerang with 4 years ERP consulting but this past year I’ve been doing DEI Consulting. Spoke with former colleagues who rejoined Deloitte and got a much higher offer for SC. How do I go back to the recruiter to negotiate further? I suggested that I’d probably sign but need time to think. Now I’d like to go back and request 140k salary.

It’s hard to be motivated when rounds of layoffs happen and you see all your friends leave. But one thing that’s gotten me through all of this is working out. And when I say workout I mean the most pathetic, sad, barely completed beginner-level cardio dance routines. I’ve somehow forced myself to move while on lockdown and it’s somehow forced me to feel better. Whatever you’re doing, wherever you are: get up and move even if you don’t finish or end up going on a walk. Pls take care of yourself❤️

Been at a new job for a couple of months. Overall it’s been disappointing and I’m starting to feel anxiety for the future. I feel this way because I’ve just been working on one account I really don’t feel will create anything book worthy and I’m afraid that I will have nothing to show after a year. I’d been interviewing with this company for a while (off and on for 7 months+) and during that time made work I’m proud of and as of this past may, is award winning. (continued in comments)
