@KPMG I've considered that, but I realized an MBA is not the solution to everything. Plus I have a coworker who got an MBA at Wharton, came back to Deloitte and is currently doing analyst level work as a Senior Consultant.
Op: exactly why I quit last week 👏
@op my worst nightmare... Returning to the same company with little change in role and scope after 2 years of further education
I'm in DD too, but I'm not technical. I've done process work, requirements, strategy.... #ifeellost
D4 you didn't even respond lol
Hate the lack of stability of any form. One day you're a rockstar working with the best team and client and the next you're rolling off, getting shipped to a town where you can't even find a restaurant to grab a nice dinner, with a shitty team and doing the work of an intern. No one guarantees that you'll be on a good project if you are a good performer. Also, no work life balance. Constantly being sick while traveling. And they don't pay us that well to begin with...
Try to find gigs in the CIO suite at tech firms, deputy directors and such. Usually want 3 years at big 4.
I'm in the same boat but have a lot of industry focused experience. Feel like jack of all trades, master of none.
If it's worth millions I want my cut
Which technology? And are you looking for product development or their IT?
Work at a big company. Big banks are full of high performing smart people, even in tech. Big retail/consumer/pharma places can be hit or miss but if you're working at corporate level it's gotta be good
^Eh...they dont not pay us well...
MBA?
No MBA
Op go get your MBA
#TeamMBA
OP I have seen that happen so many times...
This thread is worth millions to me. I really appreciate when we help each other out! Thanks Fishbowl
Why do you want to quit, @OP?
Wait is that a rhetorical question?!
