I have been looking at the curriculums for Harvard Business School's Master of Business Administration and Harvard Extension School's Master's in Management. They both have the same requirements, generally speaking, including a field immersion course that serves as a capstone in the Master's in Management, which is fairly new. If I am not able to gain admission to Harvard Business School, but wanted a similar educational experience to become a consultant, should I attend Harvard Extension?

So, I truly enjoy wealth management, corporate and institutional solutions and being in a managerial position with 5+ years in this field and in a true management position. I have a B.s in Business Administration and MBA in Global Business Management Currently hold Series 7, 9, 10 and 66 and I’m looking for great opportunities in the Atlanta market. Looking to transition out of Management Consulting and going into big tech in NYC. Ideally, I would love to go in as a PMM; however I’ve heard it’s very difficult to make that jump if you don’t have a degree in engineering or CS (I’m a liberal arts graduate and in the final year of a part-time mba). Been with an Asphalt and Concrete contractor in suburban Chicagoland for a little over 2 years now, and am going into a compensation discussion tomorrow after informing my boss I no longer wish to be on a draw.

Current comp plan is as follows:
Salary- ~48k w/ draw up to about 80k, full OTE with commissions should be ~170000, this is all increased by kickers every 250k in sales that increase commission/draw
