Supervisor said I couldn’t have week off for vacation this summer bc another coworker of higher seniority asked off the same week and two people can’t go on vacation at the same time because of staffing. But this coworker that asked off works different shift than me? He works 1st shift I work second. We have a total of 8 workers and no more than 4 work a day. can easily be covered. This has never been a problem until this year (we got a new supervisor). we’re used to being short staffed anyway

How is everyone planning their family vacations? Specially looking for people with kids. I have 2 kids and a family vacation for 4 people for a week easily comes to a min of 5k -6k (flight, car, hotel, eating out every day, entertainment tickets) and if we end up taking 2-3 vacations per year, it costs about 15-20k. I am seeing a large difference between revenue and transactions being reporting in Google Analytics compared to Shopify. Google Anytics is reporting about half as many transactions.

I do know that GA really isn't the best way to track ecommerce.

I want to switch roles from a creative director who oversees all aspects of the company’s creative (marketing campaigns and brand building mostly; also production, performance marketing ads, product design, managing design team) to focusing 100% on building our brand, educating both customers and employees about our value prop. I hate managing people or logistics and scheduling. What would this role be called? Do you see it as demotion from CD?

Up for a promotion to producer and want to see how much of a raise I can get. Have been an AP for just over a year but was an account person for 4 years before that. Have been managing larger and larger productions. Does $95K sound realistic? Does anyone else think some companies are using the cop out of COVID to avoid giving raises/ bonuses and hoard money?? Bc the group I'm in well exceeded goals every quarter and Q4 exceeded on a smaller scale. Right now practice is busy - yet no raises and small bonuses...
