Which industries are preferable to audit in order to switch into TAS/deals from audit to TAS/Deals

The majority of my career has been in healthcare tech with some retail experience. Looking to break into event management/coordinating (I believe this is the correct job title) space in either the entertainment, fashion & retail or cosmetic industry. Any insights or advice is appreciated!

So far, I understand that there are client-serving firms like FTI and then the B4 will have forensics arms as well. What are some other forensic accounting roles? Pros and cons? Better than audit? Hello! Has anyone ever built a campus recruiting structure for a company? Meaning they started from scratch and built out campus recruitment? What was the pros and cons? Also, what was your salary, how long did you stay there and did you enjoy building this out?

Is it really that difficult to get hired for a federal job? I was interviewed for a GS12 job but never heard back, they still didn’t hire anyone and I didn’t get a rejection. I applied for another GS07 job, was accepted, I took it, but I believe I can do better. I have a master’s and have extra graduate research experience. I am still applying to new jobs but I was told it is impossible to move up the grade level now. Everyone is telling me to stick with the government. What are your thoughts?

Perhaps I’ve gotten too introspective during the pandemic. Don’t really want to go back for a JD and aside from keeping a roof over my head I’m not very motivated by money.
