My personal opinion is that a) senior consultant sounds better and b) EY is always a good name to have on your CV. I think WLB is definitely an issue...but I would argue that it's a temporary thing. You can stay for a year or two, grind it out, make some money and go back to a comfier org with a higher salary potentially. No role is forever IMO so take the better opportunity and you can turn it into something better later
In my experience, pushing yourself outside of your comfort zone is always the better option. Especially if it's with EY.
Hmmm, what is you desired career trajectory? Those are kind of two different fields? Personally, I'm not a fan of EY's culture but that's just because I highly value my WLB
