Hey sharks
I got offer on Citiustech Healthcare Technologies
May I know how WLB in this company, I see in glassdoor and ambitions contains positive and negative. Is it worth to join? Is it useful for me to enhance my career for long run? How about the retention pay? If we leave the company we need to pay entire retention pay?I have other wipro and CTS, which company is better to join?
I just got an offer from Accenture Switzerland, Total Comp 170K with 140K base. I have 6YOE as IT consultant and 9YOE in total. I am just upset that they did not offer me a relocation package of 20k because the cost of living in Zurich for a family with 1 child is crazy! Should I insist for a sign on bonus before accepting the offer?

I took it for several years. Going off it was brutal. I was doing it under the supervision of my doctor and tapering as directed but I had full-on physical withdrawal symptoms. I did still feel like ‘myself’ when I was on it though. It helped with depression but I could still feel feelings if that makes sense? It didn’t dull everything.
I also tried Prozac and was unable to sleep at all and my hands would shake non stop. That stuff is crazy.
work stress, feeling non stop anxiety and struggling. How long before results are felt? side effects? hard to go off? did you feel like yourself? Obviously can read all about this drug online, but would like to hear of first hand anecdotal experience before I start taking. Thank you.
Zoloft was my first one, and I think I was on it for about 2 or 3 years. It didn't work great for me and that it always made me incredibly sleepy so it was very hard to function through college. I ended up getting into some very not healthy vices that I'm still recovering from, two drugs later. It's a hit or miss as I've seen with a lot of friends.
Do not take Lexapro. The weight gain side effect was absolutely brutal for me, and any sense of libido is gone. It didn't help any more than the one I'm on now with half the side effects.
Thanks for clarifying D1. I’m in ongoing therapy and putting in the work for sure. Agree with you-meds should not be taken w out therapy. Relieved to hear that was the vice-was imagining something more ominous.
I tried it once and it worked decently. Eventually was switched to abilify by itself and that seems to work well for me. I don’t recall any bad side effects when I took Zoloft. Don’t remember any withdrawals or anything along those lines either and was on it for 6-9 months.
It worked fine for me, and I was on it for 6 years. Started helping not too long after I started, but remember you might need to titrate to find the right dose for you. I’m really sensitive to meds and experienced sleepiness and weight gain the entire time. But I know people who had few to no side effects (or ones that went away after the first month), so it really varies.
I generally felt like “myself,” but I stopped eventually because of the side effects (and other reasons). I had a lot of withdrawal symptoms, though I tapered slowly from a low dose.
Thank you, everyone who has jumped in here and share their experience. Had not heard about the weight gain. Can you drink alcohol while on it?
I took it in the morning. If I wanted to drink at night I did. I don’t really remember if I was ‘supposed to’ or not 😬 Def ask your doctor about that!
I’m on lexapro and asked my dr about drinking as well - she said “well the package is going to say don’t mix, but it’s fine if you take it in the morning” and to obviously drink in moderation. It did make me get drunk a little quicker though so had to adjust.
I’ve been on it for a year and the only weight gain exp I’ve had is from covid, didn’t gain weight bc of it prior to lockdown. I was very worried as I have a family member on meds and depending on the dosages he was either catatonic or happy and normal; I wanted to feel like myself. And honestly I really do. Work on the dosage with your doc and figure out what feels best. It’s not a cop out (I felt like I had “failed” talk therapy).
