My roommate just went to see her boyfriend knowing he has Covid. I asked her not to go seeing as I’m not vaccinated and she said she needs to check on him (he has 3 roommates so he’s not alone). I told her that if she goes to see him I’m not comfortable with her coming back and asked if she could stay with him until they both get a negative Covid test. She said it’s crazy to ask her to not come home and said I should get a hotel if I’m that concerned.

My romantic partner of >3yrs and I just broke up b/c they need to be physically present in said country for 3yrs and I can’t travel to see them aside from ~10 days PTO / year. Are other people just going abroad anyway despite this? If so, how? I’ve thought about just doing it anyway — possible consequence would be losing my job, but the certain alternative would be losing my partner.

I have the Star alliance Gold status. I have international travel coming up through Turkish airlines. Can someone tell me how much excess baggage ( check in ) will I be allowed if I have Star alliance Gold status? I tried calling Turkish twice and both times I got different responses. Their website doesn’t really specify anything. Turkish’s Elite status is equivalent to Star alliance gold and allows 20kg additional/ 1 extra bag.

A dilemma regarding charging onetime flight ticket expense in DTE under Hybrid commuting allowance:

My Indigo invoice (with GST no.) shows 7k, but I actually had to pay 6k for it (After MMT discount, have receipt of this. Not a GST bill tho).

Which amount should I charge? If they dont want bank statement then I can charge 7k, but if they raise any issue I'll land in trouble.
